Life by Design — online academy
For Life by Design (wilmasue.com) I turned a coaching website into a complete online platform: an online academy, a webshop, smart lead generation and a custom booking system — all bespoke, all in one brand experience.
The project
Coach and author Wilma-Sue van Pomeren wanted to bring all the ambitions of a growing coaching business into one professional, maintainable website she can keep managing herself: share knowledge, sell a book and a training, collect leads and schedule calls.
The challenge was to bring separate parts — a training, a book, coaching — together into one coherent online business without it becoming technically unmanageable. My role: design, custom development, e-commerce, security, hosting optimisation and ongoing maintenance — one point of contact, from strategy to execution.

What we built
Online academy
A full learning environment (Tutor LMS) with 8 modules, video lectures, workbooks, per-lesson exercises and a personal account with progress. Existing PowerPoints fully converted into course form.
Webshop & iDEAL
Selling from day one: the programme, the book and a free sample chapter. Online payment via Mollie (iDEAL), with automatic confirmations and free shipping.
Interactive scans
Three bespoke tools — By Design Scan, Wheel of Life and Energy Scan — that give visitors insight and convert them into leads, with results and a welcome email by mail.
Booking system
A custom calendar for the intro call: visitors pick their own day & time; availability via an admin screen; automatic confirmation, reminder and cancel link.
Analytics dashboard
All the numbers in one secure place behind a login: visits, courses, videos, newsletter and revenue — in clear charts.
Email, security & branding
Reliable email delivery (10/10), protection against login abuse and hardening, consistent branding and performance tuning.
Under the hood
A professional, maintainable platform on proven technology — extended with custom code where off-the-shelf fell short. All custom work is modular and reversible, so updates don't break anything.
